You paid, but your plan still shows the old tier. In almost every case the payment went through and Braandly just needs a moment or a refresh to reflect it. Work through these steps.
First, refresh
Braandly reads your plan fresh each time you load the app, so the quickest fix is usually to reload it:
- Refresh the page.
- If that does not work, sign out and back in.
Your upgraded limits should appear once the app reloads your account.
Confirm the payment went through
Check your email for a receipt from Paddle or Paystack. If there is no receipt and no charge on your card, the payment did not complete. Try subscribing again from your billing settings.
If you paid with Paystack
Paystack payments can be re-checked. Return to your billing settings and complete the checkout flow again if it was interrupted, so the payment can be verified and applied.
Common reasons a plan doesn't update
- The confirmation is still in transit. Payment confirmations travel from your provider to Braandly in the background and occasionally lag by a few minutes. Wait, then refresh.
- A different email. If you paid using a different email than the one on your Braandly account, the payment cannot be matched to you. Contact support with both emails.
- The payment is still pending. Some payment methods take time to clear. The plan activates once the payment succeeds, not when it is started.
An upgrade applies as soon as the payment is confirmed. If your receipt shows a successful charge but the plan still has not changed after a few minutes and a refresh, contact support.
Checking your subscription status
Your billing settings show your current plan, its status, your next billing date, and how many days of access remain if a plan is ending. This is the fastest way to see exactly where your subscription stands.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by the Braandly team, not through a self-service button. If you believe you are owed a refund, contact support with your payment details. There is no in-app refund option.
Getting a plan back after it ends
There is no separate reactivate button. If your plan was cancelled or lapsed, subscribe again from the pricing page or your billing settings to start a fresh subscription.
Cancelling
Cancelling your subscription is confirmed with a code sent to your email, so it cannot be done by accident. Enter the code to complete the cancellation. If the code does not arrive, check your spam folder and request a new one after a short wait. See how to cancel your subscription.
Complimentary plans
A complimentary plan is a paid tier granted by the Braandly team for a set period, at no charge. It includes AI credits like a normal paid plan but has no invoice. When the period ends, the account returns to Starter.
