Braandly runs in your web browser, with no download or install. This guide covers what you need for it to work well.

Use a modern browser

Braandly works in current versions of the major browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. Keep your browser up to date. Braandly is a modern web app, so a current browser gives you the smoothest experience and the fewest display glitches.

If a tool or page behaves oddly, first update your browser or try a different one. An out-of-date browser is a common cause of display, upload, and tool problems.

Keep JavaScript, cookies, and site data on

Braandly is an interactive app, so it needs a few browser features enabled:

  • JavaScript for the app to run at all.
  • Cookies to keep you signed in.
  • Site data and local storage, which Braandly also uses to remember your session. Blocking site data can sign you out unexpectedly.

If sign-in or core features do not work, check that your browser or an extension is not blocking these.

The image tools need a capable browser

The free image tools (the converter and compressor) do all their work on your device rather than on a server. That relies on modern browser features such as canvas graphics and background workers. On a very old browser these tools may be slow or fail even when the rest of Braandly loads. If a conversion or compression will not run, updating your browser usually fixes it.

A stable connection

Braandly saves your work as you go and keeps some features in sync live, so a stable internet connection gives the smoothest experience. If live updates or uploads stall, check your connection and refresh.

If something isn't working

  • Update your browser to the latest version.
  • Try an incognito or private window to rule out an extension.
  • Clear your cache, or try a different browser.
  • Make sure cookies and site data are allowed for Braandly.
  • If problems continue, contact support and mention your browser and version.
