After you complete a payment, Braandly activates your plan and applies your new limits. Here is what happens, in order, and how to check that everything went through.
Your plan activates
Once your provider confirms the payment, Braandly:
- Turns on your new plan and applies its limits and features right away.
- Adds your plan's AI credits to your account.
- Sends a confirmation email that your subscription is active.
- Shows an in-app notification confirming the change.
This happens as soon as the payment is confirmed, so your upgraded features are usually available immediately. If you refresh right after paying and the plan is already showing, re-paying is not needed. Repeating a confirmed payment does not activate twice.
Confirm it worked
- Check your email for the "subscription is now active" message.
- Open your billing settings to see your current plan.
- If you paid with Paystack, you are returned to a success page after checkout.
If your new plan does not appear right away, refresh the page or sign out and back in. Your plan is read fresh each time, so a refresh usually shows the update.
Your invoice and receipt
Braandly creates an invoice for each payment. Find it in your billing settings under the Invoices tab, where you can download it as a PDF showing the plan, billing period, amount, status, and payment date. Your provider (Paddle or Paystack) also sends its own receipt by email. The Transactions tab lists your payment history.
Renewal reminders
Before a paid plan renews, Braandly emails you a reminder in the days leading up to the renewal date, so a charge never comes as a surprise. If a card is close to expiring, you also get a heads-up email so you can update it in time.
If your plan still doesn't show
Payment confirmations are delivered from your provider to Braandly in the background, and on rare occasions that can lag. If your plan has not updated after a few minutes:
- Refresh, or sign out and back in.
- Check your email for a receipt to confirm the charge went through.
