Refunds are handled by the Braandly team rather than from inside the app. This article summarises when a refund is possible and what to send. The refund policy is the authority, so check it for the full terms.
When you can request one
The main condition is timing. A refund request has to be made within 14 days of the original purchase date.
Beyond that, a request needs a genuine reason, such as the service not working as expected. Refunds are not automatic, and each request is reviewed.
What is not refundable
- Renewals. The policy covers your initial purchase. Automatic renewals are not eligible, which is why cancelling before your renewal date matters.
- Anything after the 14-day window, including the unused part of a period you have cancelled.
- Promotional or discounted purchases, unless stated otherwise at the time.
- AI credits, add-ons, and other one-off extras.
- Purchases made through a third party. Those follow that provider's policy, not Braandly's.
If you have used the service substantially, a partial refund may be considered instead of a full one.
How to request one
Email support@braandly.com and include:
- The email address on your Braandly account.
- Your receipt number, from the invoice in your billing settings or the receipt your payment provider emailed you.
- Your reason for requesting the refund.
Requests missing the receipt number take longer, so include it up front. You can find invoices under the Invoices tab in billing settings.
What happens next
Your request is reviewed within 5 business days. If it is approved, the refund is processed within a further 5 to 7 business days and goes back to the payment method you paid with. How quickly it appears after that depends on your bank or card issuer.
A refund and a cancellation are separate. Requesting a refund does not stop your subscription renewing. If you want both, cancel your subscription as well.
If you were charged unexpectedly
Before requesting a refund, check what the charge was. Your statement shows the payment provider's name rather than Braandly, so an unfamiliar entry around the time you subscribed may still be yours. See payment methods.
If your plan renewed and you meant to cancel, say so in your email. Renewals fall outside the policy, but the team can look at the circumstances.
