Tasks are how you track brand work to completion in Braandly. Each task is a piece of work with a status, an owner, and any detail you need to get it done. This overview explains what a task holds and how tasks fit together.

What a task can hold

A task can carry as much or as little detail as you need:

  • Status todo, in progress, completed, or archived.
  • Priority none, low, medium, high, or urgent.
  • Assignees one or more people responsible for it.
  • Due date and reminder a deadline, plus a separate reminder date so you get a nudge before it is due.
  • Subtasks smaller steps that roll up into the task. Each subtask has a single assignee, while the task itself can have several.
  • Tags to group and filter tasks.
  • Attachments up to 3 files per task. Images and PDFs are supported; video files are not.
  • Comments for discussion, with an internal or shared visibility so you can keep team notes separate from what a client or guest sees.
  • Links to the brands, Brinks, and docs the work relates to.

Each task also has its own share link, so you can point someone straight to it.

Sections and organisation

Tasks are grouped into sections. A new project starts with four: To do, In progress, Completed, and Archived, and you can rename or add your own. You can filter tasks by status, priority, assignee, and tags to focus on what matters.

Tasks and projects

A task can live on its own in a workspace, or belong to a project that groups related work. Tasks are unlimited on every plan, so you can track as much work as you need. The number of projects you can create depends on your plan; see plan limits explained.

Start simple. A title and a status are enough to create a task. Add assignees, due dates, subtasks, and links as the work grows.
