Export your Brink subscribers

You can download your Brink subscribers as a CSV to use in an email tool or a spreadsheet.

Export your list

  1. Open your Brink and go to its subscribers page.
  2. Click Export.
  3. A file called subscribers.csv downloads.

The Export button only appears when your Brink is both active and published. If it is missing, the page tells you which of the two is not met.

Export covers the subscribers currently listed, not your entire list. The page shows subscribers in batches, so a long list exports only the batch you are looking at, along with any search term or status filter you have applied. Before exporting, clear your filters and check the number of rows in the file against your total subscriber count. If they do not match, export each page in turn, or contact support to ask about a full extract.

What's in the file

Each row is one subscriber, with their name, email address, status, where they came from, and when they subscribed.

The export reflects what is on the page, so it includes unsubscribed people if they are shown in your current view. Filter to Active before exporting if you want a mailing list, and always check consent before emailing anyone.

Subscriber statuses

StatusWhat it means
ActiveA normal subscriber
DisabledSuppressed by you, and reversible
UnsubscribedOpted out themselves. Do not email these people
PendingNot yet confirmed

The status filter offers All Status, Active, Disabled, and Pending. Unsubscribed people appear under All Status.

Export is not blocked by your plan

Reaching your subscriber cap disables Add Subscriber and Import, but not Export. You can always get your data out. See Brink subscriber limits.
