Your Brink can collect subscribers so you can keep an audience and message them later. This guide explains how someone subscribes, how they unsubscribe, and how you manage the list.
How a visitor subscribes
If the subscribe button is turned on, a visitor can:
- Click the subscribe button on your Brink.
- Enter their email, and optionally a name.
- Submit. They are added to your subscriber list and receive a welcome email.
Subscribers who sign up directly from your Brink are added right away. If someone subscribes with an email that is already on the list, nothing breaks and no duplicate is created. The same person can subscribe to different Brinks separately.
Subscribers you add yourself
You can also add subscribers manually or import a list. Subscribers added this way are sent a confirmation email and are only added once they confirm, so your list stays clean and permission-based. Until they confirm, they sit as pending.
How unsubscribing works
Every email includes an unsubscribe link. When someone unsubscribes:
- They are removed from your active list and stop receiving your messages.
- They can resubscribe later using the link in the confirmation email they receive after unsubscribing.
Managing your subscribers
From your Brink's subscribers page you can:
- See your subscriber list and total count. The list hides people who have unsubscribed.
- Export your subscribers to a CSV file.
- Import subscribers from a list.
- Send a message to your subscribers. Broadcasts go only to active, confirmed subscribers, so pending and unsubscribed people are left out.
A Brink that is suspended or archived pauses all subscriber actions. Publish and reactivate the Brink to manage its subscribers again.
Subscriber allowances by plan
Each plan comes with a subscriber allowance, and higher plans are built for larger audiences:
| Plan | Subscribers |
|---|---|
| Starter | 50 |
| Plus | 500 |
| Pro | 5,000 |
| Ultimate | Unlimited |
These allowances are subject to change. Check the pricing page or your billing settings for the current numbers.
