A Brink is built from blocks. Each block adds one piece of content, and you stack and reorder them to build your page. This is a reference for the block types and the options they share.

The block types

  • Title a heading, with optional supporting text.
  • Text a block of text.
  • Link a link or button. You can set the label, an icon, whether it opens in a new tab, and campaign tracking (UTM) parameters.
  • Image an image, with alt text, a caption, an aspect ratio, how it fills its space, and an optional link.
  • Featured banner a large banner image that links somewhere, with a title and description.
  • Multi-item banner a group of items in one block, each with its own title, image, and link.
  • Embed embedded content from YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Facebook, Instagram, Vimeo, Twitch, or TikTok.
  • Divider a space or line to separate sections, in small, medium, or large.

Options every block shares

Beyond its content, each block has controls for how and when it appears:

  • Visibility show or hide the block. A hidden block stays on your Brink but does not appear on the public page.
  • Pin keep important blocks at the top. You can pin up to 5 blocks per Brink.
  • Schedule set a block to appear from a start time, and optionally disappear at an end time. A scheduled block is hidden from the public page until its window opens.
  • Lock protect a block. You can require an access code to open it, add an age check, or mark it as sensitive content so visitors confirm before viewing.
  • Reorder drag blocks into the order you want.

Hiding or scheduling a block keeps it on your Brink but off the public page, so you can prepare content and reveal it later without rebuilding the block.

The subscribe button

Subscribe is not a block. It is a button on your Brink that lets visitors sign up for updates, and you can turn it on or off in your Brink settings. See how the subscribe and unsubscribe flow works.
